FAIR cont....

We ran into some people at the fair that Aric worked with in his optometry clinics. They were showing their pig at the fair so we went to check it out. Peyton got to ride it. She was a little nervous but quickly warmed up to it. She loved to petting them and playing with their nasty feet, as you will see in the next pictures. Landen didn't want anything to do with it. He was too concerned about finding the cotton candy.

Big Rapids Fair

The Big Rapids Fair was in July...so of course we had to go(Not much else going on).We went as a family and let Peyton go on a few rides. The fair doesn't offer too much besides animals, rides and food. So we had to see all the animals.

Peyton's New Hair-Do

For all of you sick people who want pictures of my daughter's recent hair cut, here you are. This was a very sad day! This is what happens when you teach your child to cut out the rubber bands when they get stuck in your hair. You might get more than just the rubber band! So how long does it take for hair cut an inch from the scalp to grow back?? :(

Holey SMILE!

And...there goes the other one. Once again I managed to trick Landen into letting me "wiggle" his loose tooth. It was just getting too ridiculous. It had practically moved to the other side of his mouth. So I again layed him on the couch to "wiggle" it. This one didn't come out as easily. He groaned in pain for just a minute then was fine. Am I a mean Mom or what? So here are a few pictures. Some a little more graphic than others. You can actually see his permanent teeth coming in already!

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY ARIC

Happy Father's Day! Hopefully Aric was able to having a relaxing day. Even though he had to stay after church for "church business". He came home to lunch, ready and waiting, then got to take a nap. I made his requested crab legs and sauteed mushrooms for dinner. As a family we went to the park and played on the toys and took a short walk. When we got home the kids and I made him his favorite dessert- chocolate chips cookies. And I am pretty sure he didn't have to change a single diaper today. Sounds like a good day to me.
Just some cute pictures of Peyton and Landen posing for the camera.
